Two bass caught during a Hawghawlers tournament at Table Rock in 2020. Largemouth was big bass of the tournament.

Fishing and hunting is a tradition in our family. After getting hung up and breaking her line, Dad gave Abby his rod to fish with while he set hers up again. To say it was a lucky trade is an understatement as she caught her first 14 inch crappie using Daddy’s rod, and outcaught the rest of us that day.

When all the hard work pays off.

Attached is a photo of my dad, Bob, 85 years old me with our bucks we shot on our family farm during the 2020 firearms season.

Once I captured this old brute on trail cam in 2014 the game was on. I’ve only seen him twice during season. He always kept himself out of archery range & never saw him during rifle season. My boy and I was addicted to trying to pattern him. Through pictures, times & directions. Then 3 days prior to 2017 rifle season, I captured him on trail cam again & had broken off 2 of his points. Then on November 13, 2017 my dream came !
